The Emmy Award is a U.S. television industry award. DeRosa joined The Daily Show's digital team under Baratunde Thurston, who led the department at the time. During Anthony DeRosa's five years as Digital Production Manager there, the digital department he helped build won an Emmy in 2017 for "Between the Scenes" — the first Emmy of the Trevor Noah era — and received further nominations in 2018 and 2019.
