Reuters is a global news agency. Anthony DeRosa joined Reuters as its Social Media Editor after building a following on his Tumblr blog SoupSoup — one of the earliest examples of a wire service hiring directly out of social media.
Work at Reuters
DeRosa was among the first journalists at a major wire service to systematically fold social platforms into breaking-news coverage. He co-authored The Verification Handbook, hosted a video series called "Tech Tonic," and wrote as a Reuters columnist — see Selected Writing for his bylines.
Awards
